Some things just don' t make their way far enough into main stream media. I just stumbled across this entry at snopes.com. Apparently, a bag manufacturer snuck a wonderfully subversive message into their products a little while back. Right below the French version of the washing instructions is the quip:
"NOUS SOMMES DESOLES QUE NOTRE PRESIDENT SOIT UN IDIOT. NOUS N'AVONS PAS VOTE POUR LUI."
I'll let all of you non-French readers enjoy the translation in the Snopes entry...
Suffice it to say, we should all be buying Tom Bihn products.
